Essential
1. A first class or High Second Class M.B.A. Degree from a recognised University
2. Ph.D or its equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognised University
3. 10 years experience in teaching / training of management discipline / management of agricultural or rural development programmes out of which 5 years should be in the cadre of Dy Director.
Desirable
1. Specialization in Agricultural Management
2. Aptitude for team work under a Leader.
Age limit for Direct Recruitment :
- Upto 50 years of age
- Relaxable for Govt Servants upto 5 years.
(a) Persons under Central / State Govts., / Universities / Recognised Research Institutions / PSUs / Statutory, Semi Govt. or Autonomous organizations
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis
- With 5 years of service in the posts in the scale of Rs.12000-18300 (pre-revised) or equivalent; and
(b) Possessing qualifications as mentioned above in Essential Qualifications.

Essential:
- A Bachelor degree from a recognised University.
- Speed of 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting and possession of English typewriting Lower Grade.
- 3 Yrs. Experience in Govt. Office / Undertaking or Autonomous body or reputed firms.
- Knowledge of Govt. Rules and Regulations and office procedure.
- Working knowledge of computers.
Desirable: A flair for cleanliness and tidiness
