The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold preliminary screening test for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2014 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers commencing from 24/08/2014. The pattern of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 has been changed and candidates for IFS Examination 2014 needs to appear in the Indian Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) 2014 for the same. Therefore candidates needs to apply for Indian Civil Service Examination 2014 to appear in Indian Forest Service Examination 2014.

State Bank of India Recruitment of Probationary Officers - 2014

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment 
as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India.

Total Vacancies for PWD: 60

Eligibility Criteria:
(A) Academic Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised 

University or any equivalent qualification. Those who are in the Final 
year of their Graduation/Semester may also apply.
(B) Age Limit:21 - 30 years

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (for SC/ST Rs.100/-)

Candidates will be required to register themselves online 

through Bank's websitewww.statebankofindia.com , www.sbi.co.in . After registration 
candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through offline mode by 
generating the cash voucher/ challan form (or) through online mode by using 
debit /credit card / Internet Banking.

Selection procedure:
Selection procedure consists two Phases.
Phase-I: Objective (200 marks) & Descriptive (50 marks) Tests
Phase - II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)

Scheme of Examination:
The Objective Test will be online. Immediately after online Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. The Objective Test with 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 questions each as follows.

a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
e) Descriptive Test
Note: Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests.
