RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER (DRAUGHTS MAN GRADE-II)
Date of Examination : 19-6-2011 (10.30 AM to 1.30 PM)

1) Construction materials and machinery
2) Construction methods
3) Engineering Mechanics
4) Basics in structural engineering
5) Estimation and costing
6) Preparation of drawings and detailing in civil engineering
7) Water supply, Sanitary and plumbing system in Buildings.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION:
EXAM DURATION : 3-00 Hours
1) 40% objective type 
a) Choose the correct answer     
b) Filling up the Blanks
c) True or False
d) Matching                                   -    40 Marks

2) 60% Descriptive
a) Drawing                                   -     20 Marks
b) Others as per syllabus              -    40 Marks

3) Minimum Marks (Cut off marks) : 40 Marks

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATE:
1) Please ensure that you are at the examination centre one hour before the exam begins.
2) You will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.
3) Please ensure that both copies of e-Admit cards should bring to the examination hall.
4) Please sign in front of Invigilator in the box provided.
5) Please handover one signed copy of the e-admit card to the Invigilator in the examination hall.
6) Cell phones, Calculators or any other gadgets will not be allowed in the premises where the examination is being held. You need to make your own arrangements for their safe custody.
7) Please ensure that you are sitting at the allotted place on or before 10.00 AM so as to enable you to fill up the statutory forms and details before the commencement of examination.
8) The candidates whose photos are not clear in downloaded e-Admit cards are directed to affix recent pass port size photo in e-Admit cards duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
9) The main gate of the examination centre/venue shall be closed by10.30 AM sharply.
10) The question paper will be in English only.
11) The candidate has to bring his/her own pen(Blue or Black), H.B. pencil and Erasers.
12) Geometry box containing small set squares is allowed.
13) Calculators, Mini drafters, T-Square and Big Set Squares are not allowed.
