Cost to Company (CTC): Rs.3.77 Lakhs per annum (approximately) including Pay and Dearness

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
STOREMAN: (for both Male and Female candidates)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or Diploma in Engineering from a
recognized Board/Institute. Ex-Servicemen with equivalent qualifications can also apply.
Experience: One (1) year post-qualification experience in a Commercial/Public Sector
organization in receipt, custody and issue of stores material. Should be familiar with procedure
connected with taking delivery of consignment and processing claims for shortage, damage and
loss in insurance arrangements and operation of computers. Should be able to handle
independently all documentation work in stock and control sections.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be through written test and interview.
OPERATOR-CUM-MECHANIC: (only for Male candidates)
Qualification: SSC/Matric with ITI or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Board/Institute
with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License. Ex-Servicemen with equivalent qualification
may also apply. Candidates must enclose Driving License Extract Copy issued by the
Regional Transport Authority of the concerned State Govt. along with their applications.
Experience: Three (3) years post qualification experience in operating Earth Moving/ Material
Handling Equipments after obtaining Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Mode of Selection: Selection will be through written test, job test and interview to be held at
Visakhapatnam.

· Candidates must fill-up the SBI Branch name, Branch Code, candidate’s name and date
of birth carefully in the Challan and sign at the appropriate place in the Challan.
· Late date for deposit of Application fees is 02.4.2011.
· Candidates should mention in the appropriate place in the online application form the
details of SBI branch, Branch code, City, date of deposit and the Journal Number.
· Candidates should submit original counterfoil of the Challan (VSP copy) along with
Registration Slip.
· Application fees once deposited into RINL’s account will not be refunded under any
circumstances, even if the candidate is rejected on scrutiny, internet failure or application
not received in time due to postal delay/loss.
· The candidate should retain his/her copy of the counterfoil of the Challan for further

How to Apply
STEP 1: Log on to www.vizagsteel.com and go to the link Careers and click on “Recruitment of
Storeman and Operator-Cum-Mechanic”
STEP 2: Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website. Ensure that you are
eligible for the post in all respects.
STEP 3: Have counterfoil of Challan of Application fees in hand (not for SC/ST/PWD
candidates). Applications will not be registered without the details of Journal Number, Branch
Code no., City and date of deposit.
STEP 4: Fill in the Online Application Form carefully with your particulars.
STEP 5: After you click SUBMIT, verify that you have fed all your particulars correctly.
Download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other
essential details with space for passport size photograph and signature. Take a print of the
Registration Slip on thick white A4 size paper, affix and self-attest passport size color
photograph, and sign on the Registration Slip in the space provided.
Please retain three identical photographs to be used at the time of written test/job test/interview
(Change of photograph at the time of written test / job test / interview shall render the applicant
ineligible).
STEP 6: Send the following by ordinary post to “Post Box No.1102, Jayanagar 3rd Block,
Bangalore-560011” so as to reach latest by 11.4.2011.
i) The Original Registration Slip with photograph affixed.
ii) VSP copy of Application fees Challan (not for SC/ST/PWD candidates). At the reverse
side of the Challan write your name, registration no. and post applied.
iii) Driving Licence Extract Copy issued by the Regional Transport Authority of the
concerned State Government for the post of Operator-cum-Mechanic.
STEP 7: Candidates should not enclose copies of certificates pertaining to their date of birth

1. Plant Health Management (2):
- For Division of PHE: (with M.Tech. Agricultural Engineering, OR B.Tech. with minimum 3 years of research experience.in the above subject)
- For Division of A&AM: (with Ph D in Agronomy/Weed Science, OR M.Phil OR Masters with minimum 3 years of research experience.in the above subject)
2. Plant Quarantine & Policy Management (1):
- For Division of BS&PQ: (with PhD in Plant Pathology, OR M.Phil OR Masters in the above subject with minimum 3 years of research experience).
3. Pesticides Management (4):
- For Division of PM: (with PhD in Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/Agro chemicals and pest management / Analytical Chemistry/Bio technology/ environmental Chemistry or science, OR M.Phil OR Masters in the above subject with minimum 1 year experience in chromatographic equipment operation.
Those who have submitted their thesis and awaiting award of Ph.D can also apply. The age limit for applying for the posts is 30 years. The monthly consolidated emoluments payable shall be as follows-

DUTIES OF THE POSTS
1. JOINT DIRECTORS: As Divisional heads they are expected to plan, implement and coordinate various activities of their divisions to enable the Directors accomplish the responsibilities assigned. Any other duties assigned by the Directors or the Director General from time to time.
2. ASSISTANT DIRECTORS / SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS: As Sub-divisional heads they are expected to plan, implement and coordinate various activities of their sub-divisions to enable the Joint Directors / Directors accomplish the responsibilities assigned. Any other duties assigned by the Joint Directors, Directors or the Director General from time to time.
3. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: To assist the Registrar in supervising all administrative activities of the Institute and oversee the establishment works relating to service of the employees, stores (procurement, issue, inventory), construction works, court related matters, etc.
4. OFFICE SUPERINTENDENT: To supervise and discharge all establishment related activities properly and punctually, maintain all service records correctly, attend to stores procurement, assist in monitoring of construction & maintenance works of the Institute, attend to various court related matters and liaising with Advocates, preparation of affidavits, follow-up, etc.
5. ASSISTANT: To assist in timely processing of various matters pertaining to administration (establishment matters such as Service Books, increment preparation, pay fixation, leave sanctions, recruitments,etc) and to enable disposal of the relevant matters efficiently and properly and maintenance of records etc..
6. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTS; To assist in timely processing of various matters (bills, vouchers, sanctions, budget matters, medical claims, advances, etc) pertaining to the Accounts section and to enable disposal of the relevant matters efficiently and properly and maintenance of records etc.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL THE POSTS:–
1. Age limit will be reckoned with reference to the closing date for receipt of the applications.
2. Age and qualifications may be relaxed in exceptional cases.
3. As per the existing Rules relating to Reservation all the posts advertised above fall under unreserved category and hence open to all. The Rule of Reservation is not applicable in the case of deputationists. However, subject to availability, eligible candidates belonging to reserved categories will be duly considered as per rules in force.
4. In the case of direct recruitment the selected candidates will be governed by the New Pension Scheme, 2004, Govt. of India.
