A.P. HIGH COURT Civil Judge (Junior Division) Scheme of Examination & Syllabus
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND SYLLABUS
The Scheme and the methodology for conducting the Examination and syllabus is as follows:
There shall be, owing to the contingency, a screening test which shall be objective type before conducting the written examination followed by Viva Voce. While short listing the eligible candidates for written examination a ratio of 1:10 of the available vacancies to the successful candidates will be maintained.
(a) The written examination shall carry 80 marks.
(b) Viva voce shall carry 20 marks.
NOTE: 1. The Question paper shall be answered in English only.
2. The Question paper shall be as set by the High Court.
3. The Syllabus for the written examination shall be out of the procedural as well as substantive laws, Civil as well as Criminal Rules of Practice and Local Laws.While the written examination is meant to test the academic knowledge of the candidate; the viva voce is to test his academic knowledge as well as communication skills; his tact; ability to defuse the situations to control the examination of witnesses and also lengthy and irrelevant arguments and the like, and his general knowledge.

HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH:: HYDERABAD
EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION No. 01/2011/Estt.
Applications are invited for filling up of one post of Assistant Librarian, carrying the time scale of pay of Rs. 11860-34050, in the A.P. High Court Service, by direct recruitment, as specified below:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate with B.Li.Sc., LL.B.,
2. Knowledge with computer skills for maintaining Library evidenced
by certificate from a reputed public or private institution.
Graduate with M.Li.Sc., LL.B., as preferential qualification.
The candidates should possess all the requisite qualifications as indicated above, as on the date of notification.
AGE LIMIT:
Must have completed the age of 18 years and must not have completed age of 34 years as on 01.07.2011. The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable up to 5 years to the applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and up to 10 years incase of physically handicapped applicants.
SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection of candidate for appointment to the post will be made through an oral interview.
APPLICATION & OTHER INFORMATION:
The application, instructions and information as detailed below can also be down loaded from the High Court Web site http://hc.ap.nic.in from 01.02.2011.
The application in the prescribed proforma must sent along with the following enclosures:
1) One latest passport size photograph to be pasted on the application. The said photograph must be attested by a Gazetted Officer of State or Central Government.
2) Attested copies of Certificates of academic qualifications Viz., 1) Date of Birth (S.S.C. or equivalent) 2) Degree 3) B.Li.Sc., 4) Law Degree 5) Certificate, showing computer knowledge for maintaining the Library, possessed from a reputed public or private institution 6) Community Certificate (in case of SCs, STs and BCs) 7) Certificate of Physical disability (in case of the physically handicapped applicants) 8) Self addressed envelop with required postage to transmit the interview letter by Registered Post with Acknowledge due.
3) The applications duly filled in along with the above enclosures should be sent by superscribing on the envelop as ‘Application for the post of Assistant Librarian’, to the Registrar (Administration), High Court of A.P., Hyderabad – 500 066, on or before 01.03.2011.
In-complete/in-correct applications and the applications received without required enclosures will be summarily rejected and applications received after the due date, for any reason, will not be entertained. The information if any, furnished by the candidate subsequently found incorrect, necessary action will be initiated against the individual. Applicants should be careful in filling up of the application form and submission.
The applicants who are working in Government Departments on regular basis should submit the applications through proper channel.
Information will be sent to all the eligible applicants about the date and time of the oral interview to be conducted. Interviews will be conducted at High Court of A.P, Hyderabad.
The Registry reserves the right for screening the applications, basing on the percentage of marks obtained by the applicants in B.Li.Sc Course in the ratio of 1:10.
The High Court reserves the right to cancel the above said recruitment process.
No T.A. and D.A. will be paid to any of the candidates appearing for the oral interview.
