Applications are invited from the desirous & eligible Applicants to fill up the posts of Postman and Mail Guard in the following Postal Divisions / Units in Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- + admissible allowances in accordance with Postman Recruitment Rules 2010 / Mail Guard Recruitment Rules 2010 notified vide GOI Gazette order No.682 dated 20/12-2010 and subsequent amendment issued vide No.311 dated 28/6-2012 to Postman Recruitment Rules.

Educational Qualification:-
i) For Postman: Matriculation/SSC from a recognized Board or University.
ii) For Mail Guard: Matriculation/SSC from any recognized Board or University

Applications are invited from meritorious Sportspersons in the following disciplines for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/PACO/PA SBCO/ Postman and Multi Tasking Staff for the year 2013-2014 and for the unfilled vacancies of the years 2009 to 2010- under sports quota.

  1. Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: 57 Posts
    Qualifications: i). 10+2 Standard or 12th class pass from recognised University/Board of School Education Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding vocational streams). ii). Should have studied local language of the State of A.P. Postal Circle or Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
  2. Postman: 38 Posts
    Qualification: Pass in Matriculation from a recognised board/ university.
  3. Multi Tasking Staff: 10 Posts
    Qualification: Pass in Matriculation/ ITI or equivalent from a recognised board/ university.
Age Limit (As on 19/01/2015): 18 - 27 years

Part ‘B’ 25 Marks - 25 Questions on Mathematics - Multiple Choice Questions
Part ‘C’ Two Segments:
i) 25 Marks – 25 Questions - English language – Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions.
ii) 25 Marks - 25 Questions - Telugu language – Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions.
